1. CONSTITUTION of the VACAVILLE UNITED SOCCER CLUB
1.1.Name
1.1.1 This club’s name, derived from the unification of VYSL & VUSC is a non-profit
organization within the State of California, known as Vacaville United Soccer Club.
1.2.Purpose and Boundaries
1.2.1 The purpose of the Club is to develop, promote and administer the game of soccer among
all boys and girls in the city of Vacaville and surrounding areas. One of the primary goals of the
club is to support both a recreational and competitive environment equally and fairly, regardless
of race or creed and/or ability while upholding the highest levels of sportsmanship and respect.
1.2.2 The club shall abide by all terms set forth in the written contract between the city of
Vacaville and VUSC for any and all fields utilized for training, games, tryouts including any
club-wide events.
1.3. Governing Body Affiliation
1.3.1 The Vacaville United Soccer Club (VUSC) represents the greater Vacaville area in
California Youth Soccer Association’s District VI and is an affiliate branch of the CYSA. This
Club shall comply with the authority of CYSA, the Nor-Cal league and affiliated Nor-Cal
leagues, United States Youth Soccer Association (USYSA) and the United States Soccer
Federation (USSF). All players, coaches and administrative staff of VUSC teams (recreational
and competitive) are further bound by all directives set forth by the governing bodies listed in
this article.
1.3.2 A Club affiliated with VUSC may be affiliated with multiple soccer organizations. The
Club must comply with the VUSC and each organization’s policies.
